A very elegant Antique Victorian Silver Plated and hand-cut crystal claret jug, having a plain round mount with applied bead-edged borders, a plain side handle with a vertical strengthening strut, a hinged domed lid with a plain thumb-piece, together with a hand-cut crystal round body with straight tapering sides and a tucked under belly above a pedestal foot. This handsome silver-plated and crystal claret jug was made in ca. 1890. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver-plated and crystal claret jug are height 28 cms (11 inches), and length 12.5 cms (5 inches). Please note that this item is crested.

 A very handsome and large Antique Victorian Silver Plated and hand-cut crystal claret jug, having a hand-engraved mount with floral decoration, a Bacchus face on the spout, a hinged stepped and domed lid with cast finial, a scroll side handle attached to a lower strengthening girdle, and a round hand-cut straight-sided body with a single band of hand-engraved frosted cut work in a grapevine pattern with two bands of hobnail pattern above and below, all sitting on a flat base with a star-cut. Made in ca.1880. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver-plated and crystal claret jug are height 29 cms (11.5 inches), length 20 cms (8 inches), and diameter at the base is 13 cms (5 inches).
