A very pretty Antique Victorian Sterling Silver and hand-cut crystal claret jug, having a hand-chased mount with floral and scroll decoration, with three oval vacant cartouches on both sides, a hinged domed lid with a gadroon border and finial, a scrolled handle with leaf work, and an oval hand-cut straight-sided body with hobnail pattern and star-cut base. Made by William Hutton of London in 1895. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver and crystal claret jug are height 27 cms (10.75 inches), and length 17 cms (6.75 inches).
