A very handsome Antique Victorian Silver Plated and hand-cut crystal claret jug, having an ornate Bacchus style round mount with hand-chased figural work, a cast side handle with a plain round security ring, a hinged lid with a cast rampant lion and shield finial, together with a hand-cut crystal round body with straight sides and a tucked under belly above a flat star-cut base. Made by Hukin and Heath of Sheffield in ca. 1880. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver-plated and crystal claret jug are height 26 cms (10.25 inches), and length 16 cms (6.3 inches).
