A very handsome and large Antique Victorian Sterling Silver and hand-cut crystal lemonade or pimms jug, having a plain round mount, a hinged lid with a pierced thumb-piece, a plain square cross-section handle, a sparrow-beak style spout, together with an original internal glass tube for crushed ice (with silver handle and bayonet-fit lift-off lid), a hand-cut crystal body with lobes of hobnail-cut decoration, and all sitting on a flat star-cut base. Made by Streeter and Co. Ltd., of London in 1899. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver and crystal pimms or lemonade jug are height 28 cms (11 inches), length 21 cms (8.25 inches), and diameter at base 17 cms (6.75 inches).
