A very handsome Antique Victorian Silver Plated and hand-cut crystal claret jug, having a plain round mount with a bead-work border and hand-cut fleur-de-lis decoration, a hinged stepped lid with cast finial, a plain angular handle and a sparrow-beak style spout, together with a hand-cut crystal body with tapering sides and tucked under belly, and sitting on a collet foot with a matching bead and hand-cut cover. Made by William Hutton and Sons of Sheffield in ca. 1890. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver-plated and crystal claret jug are height 28.5 cms (11.25 inches), and length 12.5 cms (5 inches).
