A very pretty Antique Victorian Sterling Silver sugar basket, having an oval body with tapering sides and hand-chased half-fluted decoration, with an applied reeded top border, a hinged and reeded swing-handle, and sitting on a plain oval stepped pedestal foot. This beautiful antique silver sweet-meat basket was made by Thomas Bradbury of London in 1897. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver sugar basket are height (inc. handle) 13.5 cms (5.3 inches), length 13.5 cms (5.3 inches), width 9.5 cms (3.75 inches), and it weighs approx. 132g (4.3 troy ounces).

A very pretty Antique Victorian Sterling Silver sugar basket, having an oval body with tapering sides and hand-engraved bright-cut floral style decoration above two cartouches on either side, with applied reeded borders, a hinged and reeded swing-handle, and sitting on a plain oval pedestal foot. This beautiful antique silver sweet-meat basket was made by Joseph Braham of London in 1881.
