A very handsome Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver pair of salt cellars, in a boat-shaped style, having plain oval bodies, with gold-gilt interiors, applied  gadroon borders, and all sitting on oval pedestal feet. These elegant antique silver salt dishes were made by D. and J. Welby of London in 1905. The dimensions of these fine hand-made antique silver salt cellars are length 10 cms (4 inches), width 6.5 cms (2.5 inches), height 6.5 cms (2.5 inches), and they weigh a total of approx. 162g (5.2 troy ounces).

A very unusual and elegant pair of Antique Georgian Regency Sterling Silver salt cellars, having rectangular bellied bodies with rounded corners, decorated with gadroon top borders and central applied bands of basket-weave, with gold-gilt interiors and sitting on four ball feet. These beautiful antique silver salt cellars were hallmarked for London in 1809.
