A very handsome matched pair of Antique Georgian and Victorian Sterling Silver salt cellars, having plain oval bodies, with blue-glass liners, applied shaped gadroon borders, and all sitting on four cast hoof feet with shell shoulders. These elegant silver salt cellars were made by Robert Hennell of London in 1819 and 1875. The dimensions of these fine hand-made antique silver salt cellars are length 9 cms (3.5 inches), width 8 cms (3 inches), height 4.5 cms (1.75 inches), and they weigh a total of approx. 170g (5.5 troy ounces).
