A rare and very handsome Antique Georgian Sterling Silver pair of Irish salt cellars, in a boat-shaped neoclassical style, having plain oval bodies, with gold-gilt interiors and blue-glass liners, with applied reeded borders, all sitting on pedestal feet. Made by John Stoyte of Dublin in 1798. The dimensions of these fine hand-made antique silver Irish salt cellars are length 10 cms (4 inches), width 5.5 cms (2.25 inches), height 6.5 cms (2.5 inches), and they weigh a total of approx. 142g (4.6 troy ounces).
