A very pretty Antique Edwardian sterling silver and hand-cut crystal jam, honey, or preserve jar, having a square body decorated with hand-engraved reeded vertical bands, and with sloping upper and lower borders, together with a square stepped pull-off silver lid with looped handle, and all sitting on a star-cut base. Made by Heath & Middleton of Birmingham in 1908. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver and crystal jam or honey jar are height 9.5 cms (3.75 inches), and 7 cms (2.75 inches) square.

 An elegant and stylish Art Deco Sterling Silver and hand-cut crystal jam, honey, or preserve jar, having a plain oval pull-off lid with matching bone finial and a slot for a spoon, and a hand-cut crystal body with reeded decoration and flat base. Made by Frank Cobb of Sheffield in 1936. The dimensions of this fine hand-made Art Deco silver and crystal jar are height 10 cms (4 inches), width 8 cms (3.25 inches), and depth 6.5 cms (2.5 inches)..

Made by Hukin & Heath of Birminghamn in 1928. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver and glass conserve jar are height (inc. handle) 12.5 cms (5 inches), and diameter 11 cms (4.3 inches).

 A very handsome Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver and crystal honey or jam jar, having a plain cylindrical body with star-cut base, a plain round mount, with a mechanical swing-handled hinged lid. Together with a matching plain honey spoon. This beautiful honey or jam jar was made by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths of London in 1909, and the spoon was made by John Grinsell and Sons of Birmingham in 1910. Made by Mappin and Webb of London in 1907. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver and glass preserve holder are length 21 cms (8.25 inches), width 11 cms (4.25 inches), height 17.5 cms (7 inches), and it weighs approx. 243g (7.8 troy ounces).

Made in the circa 1930 and possibly continental in origin. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver and crystal conserve, jam, or honey jar in the shape of a beehive are height 12 cms (4.75 inches), and diameter at base 9 cms.

 An Antique Victorian Scottish Sterling Silver and crystal Aesthetic style honey, jam, or butter dish, having a round straight-sided clear body sitting in a wire-work frame, with a swing-handle, and a lift-off lid with hand-chased Chrysanthemums, and all sitting on four ball feet. Made by Hamilton & Inches of Edinburgh in 1877/79. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver and glass butter dish or conserve jar are height (inc. handle) 14 cms (5.5 inches), diameter 13 cms (5 inches), and it weighs approx. 327g (10.5 troy ounces).

Made by Martin Hall and Co., of Sheffield in 1896. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver and crystal Quaich style conserve, jam, or honey jar are height 6 cms (5.5 inches), diameter 10 cms (4 inches), and it weighs approx. 235g (7.6 troy ounces).

 A very unusual, large, and handsome pair of Antique Victorian sterling silver and hand-cut crystal jam, honey, or preserve jars, having round straight-sided bodies with plain pull-off lids with disc finials, and sitting in gallery frames with two hooks for holding jam or honey spoons, and attached to round base plates with three cushion feet underneath. Made by Charles Edward Nixon of Sheffield in 1896. The dimensions of these fine hand-made silver and crystal jam, honey, or conserve jars are height 13.5 cms (5.25 inches), diameter at base 15 cms (6 inches) square. Please note that these come with two matching silver serving spoons.
