An Antique Victorian Scottish Sterling Silver and crystal Aesthetic style honey, jam, or butter dish, having a round straight-sided clear body sitting in a wire-work frame, with a swing-handle, and a lift-off lid with hand-chased Chrysanthemums, and all sitting on four ball feet. Made by Hamilton & Inches of Edinburgh in 1877/79. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver and glass butter dish or conserve jar are height (inc. handle) 14 cms (5.5 inches), diameter 13 cms (5 inches), and it weighs approx. 327g (10.5 troy ounces).
