A very handsome Antique Victorian Sterling Silver and crystal honey, jam, or conserve jar, in the shape of a Quaich, having a plain round body with tapering sides and reeded decoration, two side handles, and with a frosted cut crystal insert with a star-cut base. Made by Martin Hall and Co., of Sheffield in 1896. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver and crystal Quaich style conserve, jam, or honey jar are height 6 cms (5.5 inches), diameter 10 cms (4 inches), and it weighs approx. 235g (7.6 troy ounces).
