A very handsome American Sterling Silver water jug, in a George I beer jug style, having a plain round bellied body, sparrow-beak spout, a scroll handle, and sitting on a collet foot. Made in ca. 1930 in North America. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver water jug are height 16.5 cms (6.5 inches), length 16 cms (6.25 inches), and it weighs approx. 512g (16.5 troy ounces).

A very handsome Antique Edwardian Silver-Plated  water jug with four mugs, in a very plain style, having round bellied bodies with tapering sides, a sparrow-beak spout, scroll side-handles, gold-gilt interiors, and all sitting on collet feet. This antique silver-plated water jug serving set was made in ca. 1900 by Martin Hall and Co., of Sheffield. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver-plated water jug are height 20 cms (8 inches), and height of mugs are 10 cms (4 inches).

A very handsome Antique Georgian Sterling Silver water or beer jug, having a plain round bellied body with an applied central reeded girdle, a plain pouring spout, a scroll handle with heart-shaped terminal, a hinged domed lid with pierced thumb-piece, and sitting on a plain round stepped pedestal foot. Made by John Payne of London in 1754. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver beer or water jug are height 21 cms (8.5 inches), length 21 cms (8.5 inches), and it weighs approx. 870g (28 troy ounces).

Made by J. McKay of Edinburgh in 1811. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver beer or water jug are height 23 cms (9 inches), length 26 cms (10.25 inches), and it weighs approx. 991g (32 troy ounces)
