A very elegant Sterling Silver pair of sauce tureens with covers, having plain oval neoclassical boat-shaped bodies with applied reeded borders, pull-off lids with cast finials,  with reeded loop side-handles, and all sitting on pedestal feet. These beautiful silver sauce tureens were made by Thomas Bradbury of Sheffield in 1931. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver2 pair of sauce tureens are height 13.5 cms (5.5 inches), length 23 cms (9 inches), width 10 cms (4 inches), with a total weight of approx. 853g (27.5 troy ounces).

Antique Victorian sterling silver sauce tureen and cover, having a plain oval body, reeded borders, two scroll handles, a pull-off lid with flame finial, and all sitting on a pedestal foot. Made by Nathan and Hayes of Chester in 1901. Height 16 cms (6.25 inches), length 23 cms (9 inches), width 9 cms (3.5 inches). Weight approx. 360g (11.6 troy ounces).

Antique Edwardian sterling silver sauce tureen, having a neoclassical boat-shaped body with reeded border, a lift-off cover with urn finial, two loop handles, all sitting on a pedestal foot. Made by Thomas Bradbury of London in 1904. Height 13 cms (5 inches), length 24 cms (9.5 inches), width 10 cms (4 inches). Total weight approx. 375g (12.1 troy ounces).

Made in ca. 1790 in the Old Sheffield fused plate. The dimensions of these fine pair of hand-made silver sauce tureens are height 15 cms (6 inches), diameter 16 cms (6.25 inches), and they weigh a total of approx. 1,676g (54 troy ounces).

Made by Robert Hennell II of London in 1872. The dimensions of the fine larger silver tureen are height 27 cms (10.5 inches), diameter length 23 cms (9 inches), with a total weight of approx. 2,356g (76 troy ounces). Please note that these items are crested in one cartouche.
