A very elegant set of six Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver and mother-of-pearl handled fruit fruit eating knives, having plain pointed-end bladed knives, all fitted into an original dark blue satin and velvet-line presentation box. This handsome silver fruit eater set was made by Allen and Darwin of Sheffield in 1903. The dimensions of this fine set of hand-made silver and mother-of-pearl fruit knives are length 16.5 cms (6.5 inches). Please note that the box is slightly damaged on one side.

An Antique Edwardian Silver-plated and mother-of-pearl handled fruit set for twelve people. Having straight-sided pointed-end blade knives, and three-prong forks, with hand-engraved reed and diamond decoration, all fitted into an original oak wood presentation box with black velvet-lined interior. Made by Rattray and Co., of Dundee, Scotland, in ca. 1910. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver-plated fruit service are length of knife 16.5 cms (6.5 inches), and the length of the fork 14.5 cms (5.75 inches).

A very elegant Art Deco style Sterling Silver and mother-of-pearl handled fruit set for six people. Having plain straight-sided pointed-end blade knives, and three-prong forks. All fitted into an original wooden presentation box with black velvet-lined interior. This handsome silver fruit set was made by James Dixon and Sons of Sheffield in 1934. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver and mother-of-pearl fruit service are length of knife 17 cms (6.75 inches), and the length of the fork 13.5 cms (5.3 inches).

A beautiful Antique Victorian Sterling Silver and hand-carved mother-of-pearl handled fruit set for twelve people in its original dark blue velvet-lined and Walnut canteen box, with removable upper tray. The knives having slightly curved blades with silver ferrules and hand-engraved floral decoration. The forks having silver ferrules and four plain tines. This very pretty antique silver and mother-of-pearl fruit eating service was made by James Round of Sheffield over the period 1854 to 1865. The dimensions of this fine hand-made sterling silver and mother-of-pearl fruit set are length of knife 21 cms (8.25 inches), length of fork 18 cms (7 inches)

An Antique Victorian silver-plated and mother-of-pearl handled fruit set for twelve people, having hand-engraved tapering bladed knives and four-prong forks with floral decoration, with large hand-chased silver ferrules connecting the mother-of-pearl handles, all fitted into their original maroon satin and velvet-lined presentation box. The ferrules are of hallmarked sterling silver and are made by John Sanderson of Sheffield in 1897. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver fruit service are length of knife 21 cms (8.25 inches), and the length of the fork 17.5 cms (7 inches).
