Having plain parallel bladed knives and plain four-prong forks, reeded ferrules connecting the mother-of-pearl handles, and fitted into an original oak canteen with removable top tray and blue velvet interior. Made by Thomas Prime and Sons of Birmingham between 1865 and 1870. Length of knife 20 cms (8 inches), length of fork 17 cms (6.75 inches)
