A pretty Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver christening set, consisting of a two-handled porringer with hand-chased fluted decoration, together with a serving spoon, all in their blue satin and velvet-lined presentation box. The porringer was made by Henry Stratford of London in 1908, whilst the spoon was made by Thomas Bradbury of London in 1897. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver christening set are length of spoon 14 cms (5.5 inches), diameter of bowl 10 cms (4 inches), and the total weight is approx. 172g (5.5 troy ounces).

A very handsome Sterling Silver christening set, having a fork and spoon in the plain Trefid End James II pattern, and all sitting in their original cream satin and maroon velvet-lined presentation box. This elegant silver christening set was made by Francis Higgins of Sheffield in 1968.
