This elegant antique silver brandy or sauce warmer was made by William Abdy of London in ca. 1910 for the American market and is stamped with the Sterling word, and has been tested to 925 silver standard. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver sauce or brandy warmer are height (inc. handle) 10 cms (4 inches), length (inc. handle) 19 cms (7.5 inches), diameter of main body 9 cms (3.5 inches), and it weighs approx. 200g (6.45 troy ounces).

A very unusual and handsome Antique Victorian Sterling Silver brandy or sauce warmer, having a plain round body with tapering sides and reeded borders, a panelled wood turned side handle, a flat hinged lid, and all sitting on a flat base. This elegant antique silver brandy or sauce warmer was made by Alfred Brownett for Aspreys of London in 1866. The dimensions of this fine hand-made brandy sauce warmer are height of main body 11 cms (4.3 inches), diameter at base 7 cms (2.75 inches), length (inc. handle) 15 cms (6 inches), and it weighs approx. 210g (6.8 troy ounces).
