A handsome Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver brandy saucepan warmer, having a plain round bellied body, a sparrow-beak spout, an original wood turned handle, and sitting on a flat base. This elegant antique silver brandy or sauce warmer was made by William Abdy of London in ca. 1910 for the American market and is stamped with the Sterling word, and has been tested to 925 silver standard. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver sauce or brandy warmer are height (inc. handle) 10 cms (4 inches), length (inc. handle) 19 cms (7.5 inches), diameter of main body 9 cms (3.5 inches), and it weighs approx. 200g (6.45 troy ounces).
