Antique Victorian sterling silver vinaigrette, having a rectangular shaped body with hand-engraved floral decoration (with roses and ferns), a hinged lid with vacant cartouche, and a gold-gilt interior with hinged hand-pierced and chased grill. Made by George Unite of Birmingham in 1838. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver vinaigrette are length 3.5 cms (1.3 inches), and width 2.5 cms (1 inch).
