A very handsome Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver trophy cup and cover, in a George II style, having a round body with applied floral strap-work decoration, two scroll side-handles with anthemion leaf thumb-pieces, a central applied girdle band, a pull-off lid with matching applied strap-work and a cast round floral finial, and all sitting on a stepped pedestal foot. Made by Walker and Hall of Sheffield in 1909. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver trophy cup and cover are height 37 cms (14.5 inches), spread across arms 33 cms (13 inches), and it weighs approx. 1,570g (51 troy ounces).
