A small but very handsome Sterling Silver trophy cup, having a plain round bellied body, with two scroll side-handles, an applied cast floral border, a panelled pedestal foot with four cast floral legs, and with its original brown wooden panelled plinth. This elegant silver trophy cup and plinth was made by the E. E. Poston and Co., of Birmingham in 1935. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver trophy cup are height (without plinth) 12 cms (4.75 inches), spread across arms 14.5 cms (5.75 inches), and it weighs approx. 171g (5.5 troy ounces).
