A very impressive and large Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver trophy cup and cover, having a round body with applied floral strap-work decoration, two flying scroll side-handles, a central applied girdle band, a pull-off lid with matching applied strap-work and a cast round finial, and all sitting on a stepped pedestal foot, again, with matching decoration. Made by Alexander Clark of Sheffield in 1906. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver trophy cup and cover are height 48 cms (19 inches), spread across arms 37 cms (14.5 inches), and it weighs approx. 2,842g (92 troy ounces).
