A very unusual Arts and Crafts style Antique Victorian Sterling Silver five-bar toastrack, having square crossed wire-work bars, with a square loop handle, and sitting on a base with a strengthening strut and four fluted and flanged feet. This elegant Arts and Crafts silver toast-rack was made by Edward Hutton of London in 1881. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver toast-rack are length 12.5 cms (5 inches), height 11 cms (4.3 inches), width 9 cms (3.5 inches), and it weighs approx. 259g (8.4 troy ounces). |
