A very handsome and unusual Antique Victorian Sterling Silver seven-bar toast-rack, having plain panelled wire-work bars with central struts, a wire-work diamond-shaped handle, attached to a plain cut-corner rectangular base with a strengthening strut, and sitting on four cast flanged feet. Made by Charles and George Fox of London in 1844. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver toast-rack are length 16 cms (6.3 inches), height 15 cms (6 inches), width 10 cms (4 inches), and it weighs approx. 375g (12 troy ounces).
