A very handsome Sterling Silver teapot, having a plain oval body with paneled curved sides and an applied gadroon border, a straight tapering spout, a wooden scroll handle and finial, and all sitting on a flat base. This elegant silver teapot was made by Alexander Clarke of Birmingham in 1932. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver teapot are length 28 cms (11 inches), height 16.5 cms (6.5 inches), and it weighs approx. 530g (17 troy ounces). |
