A very handsome Sterling Silver bachelor size teapot in an early George II Bullet or Skittle Ball style, having a plain round bellied body, a curved spout, a wooden scroll handle and finial with silver mount, a hinged lid, and sitting on a pedestal foot. Made by Mappin and Webb of London in 1926. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver bachelor teapot are length 23 cms (9 inches), height 12 cms (4.75 inches), and it weighs approx. 350g (11.3 troy ounces).
