A heavy and very handsome Sterling Silver teapot, in a George I style with a plain round bellied body, having a hinged domed lid with cast finial, a wooden insulated handle, a curved and panelled spout, and all sitting on a round collet foot. This elegant silver teapot was made by Ellis Jacob Greenberg of London in 1928. The dimensions of this fine hand-made heavy silver teapot are height 19 cms (7.5 inches), length 21 cms (8.25 inches), and it weighs approx. 613g (19.8 troy ounces). |
