A very handsome Neoclassical style Antique Georgian Sterling Silver teapot in a Bachelor size for two people, having a very plain oval straight-sided body, a straight tapering spout, a wooden scroll handle and round finial, an invisibly hinged flat lid, and all sitting on a flat base. Made by Charles Aldridge and Henry Green of London in 1780. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver bachelor teapot are length 23 cms (9 inches), height 12 cms (4.75 inches), and it weighs approx. 310g (31 troy ounces). |
