A very handsome Antique Georgian Sterling Silver teapot, having a rectangular bellied body with hand-chased reeded decoration and applied upper gadroon borders, a brown wooden handle with thumb-piece, a domed lid with a bone finial and a flat invisible hinge, a plain square cross-section spout, and all sitting on four ball feet. Made by William Bennett of London in 1811. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver teapot are length 28 cms (11 inches), width 12.5 cms (5 inches), height 15 cms (6 inches), and it weighs approx. 558g (18 troy ounces).
