A very handsome Antique Georgian Sterling Silver teapot, having a plain oval body with slightly curved sides, a curved tapering spout, a wooden scroll handle and pineapple shaped finial, an invisibly hinged domed lid, and all sitting on a flat base. Made by William Welch of Exeter in 1801. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver teapot are length 27 cms (10.5 inches), height 16 cms (6.3 inches), and it weighs approx. 350g (11.3 troy ounces).
