An Antique Georgian Sterling Silver Neoclassical style teapot stand having a lobed rectangular body with a raised edge and applied reeded border, a hand-engraved ground with floral bands of decoration and a central cartouche with laurel-leaf surround, and all sitting on four flange feet. Made by Henry Chawner of London in 1792. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver teapot stand are length 20 cms (8 inches), width 13 cms (5.25 inches), and it weighs approx. 191g (6 troy ounces).
