A handsome Sterling Silver tea strainer and dregs bowl, having a Georgian lemon strainer style round hand-pierced bowl, with two hand-pierced side-handles, and sitting on an original plain round dregs stand with a square base. This elegant silver tea strainer and bowl was made by Thomas Bishton of Birmingham in 1944. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver tea strainer and dregs stand are height 2.5 cms (1 inch), length of strainer 11.5 cms (4.25 inches), and the dregs stand is 7.5 cms (3 inches) square inches), and it weighs a total of approx. 68g (2.2 troy ounces).
