A very unusual Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver gimble-mounted tea strainer on a teapot style stand, having a round hand-pierced bowl mounted on two side stands, all sitting on an original plain round dregs stand in the shape of a teapot, together with an original wooden insulated side-handle. This rare antique silver tea strainer and stand was made by Fredericks Ltd., of London in 1907. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver tea strainer and stand are height 5.5 cms (2.25 inches), length including handle 17 cms (6.75 inches), and it weighs a total of approx. 50g (1.6 troy ounces). |
