A very stylish Antique Sterling Silver tea strainer and stand, having a round hand-pierced bowl with two florally pierced side-handles, all sitting on an original plain round dregs stand with a wire-work galleried holder on a base with three ball feet. This elegant antique silver tea strainer and stand was made by George Howson of Sheffield in 1920. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver tea strainer and stand are height 4 cms (1.5 inches), length over handles 10 cms (4 inches), and it weighs a total of approx. 80g (2.6 troy ounces). |
