A very pretty Sterling Silver tea strainer and bowl, having a round hand-pierced strainer with an applied wavy-edged border, with a cast side-handle having floral and scroll decoration, and sitting on its original plain round bowl with straight sides and flat base. This beautiful silver tea strainer and bowl was made by John Rose of Birmingham in 1962. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver tea strainer and bowl are length 15.5 cms (6 inches), diameter of bowl 6 cms (2.3 inches), and with a total weight of approx. 83g (2.7 troy ounces). |
