A handsome Sterling Silver tea strainer and dregs bowl in a Georgian lemon strainer style, having a round hand-pierced bowl, with two hand-pierced side-handles, and sitting on an original plain round dregs stand with a reeded border and flat base. This elegant silver tea strainer and bowl was made by Robert Comyns of London in 1940. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver tea strainer and bowl are height 3.5 cms (1.3 inches), length across handles 12 cms (4.75 inches), and it weighs a total of approx. 80g (2.6 troy ounces).
