A very handsome, large, and heavy Sterling Silver tea strainer and bowl, having a plain wood-turned handle, a round hand-pierced bowl with an applied reeded border and a cast shell side holder, and sitting on a plain round dregs bowl with three cast hoof feet and shell shoulders. Made by Robert Comyns of London in 1964. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver tea strainer & bowl are length 19 cms (7.5 inches), diameter of bowl 8 cms (3 inches), with a total weight of approx. 155g (5 troy ounces).
