A very stylish Sterling Silver tea strainer and stand, having a round hand-pierced bowl, with wire-work loop handle and two right-angled cup supports, all sitting on an original plain round dregs stand with a wire-work galleried holder on flat base. Made by James Round of Sheffield in 1921. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver tea strainer and stand are height 4 cms (1.5 inches), length over handle 12 cms (4.75 inches), and it weighs a total of approx. 68g (2.2 troy ounces). |
