A very pretty Sterling Silver three-piece bachelor sized tea set, consisting of a teapot, sugar bowl, and cream jug, in a plain oval style with straight sides and applied bead-edged borders, the teapot with a brown wooden handle, finial, and a hinged domed lid with a flat invisible hinge, the sugar and creamer with scroll handles, and all sitting on flat bases. This beautiful silver bachelor size three-piece tea set was made by Roberts and Belk of Sheffield in 1940. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver tea set are height of teapot 11.5 cms (4.5 inches), length 21.5 cms (8.5 inches), and it weighs a total of approx. 450g (14.5 troy ounces).
