Antique Georgian sterling silver three-piece Regency style tea set, having a teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug. The bodies all hand-chased with roses and converging flute decoration, with applied gadroon borders, the sugar and creamer with gold-gilt interiors, the teapot with wooden handle and ivory finial, and an invisibly hinged lid, and all sitting on four cast foliate feet. Made by Charles Fox I of London in 1821. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver tea service are length of teapot 29 cms (11.5 inches), height 17 cms (6.75 inches), and it weighs a total of approx. 1,260g (41 troy ounces).
