A very handsome and heavy Sterling Silver Art Deco three-piece tea set, consisting of a teapot, sugar bowl, and cream jug, in a plain octagonal panelled style with hand-cut handles and matching finial, the teapot with a hinged lid, and all sitting on octagonal collet feet. Made by Elkington and Co., of Birmingham in 1934/35. The dimensions of this fine hand-made Art Deco silver tea set are height of teapot 15 cms (6 inches), length 23 cms (9 inches), and it weighs a total of approx. 1,100g (35.5 troy ounces).
