An Antique Georgian Sterling Silver three-piece early Regency style tea set, having a teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug. The oval bodies all hand-chased with half-fluted decoration, the sugar and creamer with gold-gilt interiors, the teapot with wooden handle and finial, and an invisibly hinged lid, all with applied gadroon borders, and all sitting on pedestal feet. Made by Daniel Pontifex London in 1805. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver tea service are length of teapot 30 cms (11.75 inches), height 15 cms (6 inches), and it weighs a total of approx. 1,170g (38 troy ounces).
