Sterling silver three-piece tea set, ccnsisting of teapot, sugar bowl, and cream jug, in a George I style having plain round baluster bodies, a hinged and domed lid, wooden insulated handle, a sparrow-beak style cream jug, and all sitting on pedestal feet. Made by Wakely and Wheeler of London in 1972. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver tea set are height of teapot 16.5 cms (6.5 inches), length 21 cms (8.25 inches), and it weighs a total of approx. 830g (26.7 troy ounces). |
