An Antique Victorian Sterling Silver three-piece bachelor tea set, having hexagonal panelled bodies, the teapot with a domed hinged lid with cast finial, a black wooden scroll handle, the cream and sugar bowl with gold gilt interiors and scroll handles, and all sitting on collet feet. Made by Joshua Vander of London in 1889. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver tea set are height of teapot 14 cms (5.5 inches), length of teapot 17.5 cms (7 inches), with a total weight of approx. 589g (19 troy ounces). |
