A very elegant Sterling Silver Georgian style four-piece tea and coffee service, consisting of a teapot, hot water or coffee pot, sugar bowl and cream jug. Having plain oval bodies with bands of hand-engraved Greek-Key decoration, the teapot and water pot with wooden handles and finials, the cream jug and sugar bowl with applied reeded borders, and all sitting on collet feet. This handsome silver tea and coffee service was made by James Dixon and Sons of Sheffield in 1939. The dimensions of this fine hand-made tea and coffee set are length of teapot 27.5 cms (10.75 inches), height of coffee pot 18.5 cms (7.25 inches), and the total weight is approx. 1,300g (42 troy ounces).
