An Antique Victorian Sterling Silver four-piece tea and coffee set, having round baluster bodies with hand-chased floral decoration, with silver insulated handles, cast eagle finials, eagle face spouts, the sugar bowl and cream jug with gold-gilt interiors, and all sitting on cast and hand-pierced feet. All made by Martin & Hall, with the teapot & cream jug from London in 1870, the coffee pot from Sheffield in 1890, and the sugar bowl from Sheffield in 1896. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver tea and coffee service are length of teapot 27 cms (10.6 inches), height of coffee pot 26 cms (10.25 inches), and the total weight is approx. 2,253g (73 troy ounces).
