A handsome Antique Victorian Sterling Silver tea caddy box, in a neoclassical style having a plain oval straight-sided body, with applied reeded borders, a wooden urn-shaped finial sitting on a lid with a flat hidden invisible hinge, and all sitting on a flat base. This elegant antique silver tea caddy box was made by Fordnam and Faulkner of Sheffield in 1898. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver tea caddy box are height 10 cms (4 inches), length 10 cms (4 inches), depth 7 cms (2.75 inches), and it weighs approx. 240g (7.7 troy ounces).
