A very handsome Antique Sterling Silver tea caddy box in a Bon-bonier style, having a rectangular bellied body with hand-chased fluted corners, a hinged domed lid with a cast swirl finial, a gold-gilt interior, and all sitting on four cast lions-paw feet. This elegant antique silver tea caddy box was made by S. Blanckensee and Sons of Chester in 1921. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver tea caddy box are height 11 cms (4.3 inches), depth 6.5 cms (2.6 inches), width 9.5 cms (3.75 inches), and it weighs approx. 186g (6 troy ounces).
