A very pretty Antique Victorian Sterling Silver tea caddy box, having an oval straight-sided body with applied bead borders, a cast urn-shaped finial sitting on a flat hinged lid, with hand-engraved bands top and bottom, together with neoclassical style engraved swags surrounding round vacant cartouches on either side, and all sitting on a flat base. This beautiful antique silver tea caddy box was made by Henry Wilkinson and Co., of London in 1875. The dimensions of this fine hand-made antique silver tea caddy box are height 11 cms (4.3 inches), length 13 cms (5 inches), depth 10 cms (4 inches), and it weighs approx. 407g (13 troy ounces). |
